Instructions

Abstract submission deadline: March 31st 2005
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
The entire abstract must fit in the box provided on the electronic abstract form available here on the congress website.The dimensions of the printed area are 20 mm (width)x 40 mm (height).
Use "Times New Roman 12 points" font and single line spacing in the whole abstract.
The abstract title should fit in two lines and it should clearly define the content of the abstract.
Use bold mixed case letters in the abstract title and do not use abbreviations.
Use left alignment in the abstract title.
Type the main author 's family name and then the initials followed by the rest of the authors' names.
On the next line give the name and address of the organisation.
Underline the presenting author.
Leave one blank line after the author(s)and organisation(s).
Type the body of the abstract also using single line spacing.
Use structured subheadings in italic font as follows:

Check spelling and grammar carefully.Direct reproduction from your electronically submitted abstract text means that any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific data will be reproduced as submitted.
Use generic names.Commercial drug names may not be used.
Indicate the correct category under which to include your abstract.
Simple charts of graphs should be inserted within the abstract form (if needed).
If you have not received confirmation of abstract submission by e-mail within 5 working days of your submission please contact the Congress Secretariat by e-mail (sigrune@lsh.is ) to check receipt of your abstract.

Reviewing, Acceptance and Presentation Format

The submitted abstracts will be reviewed by two referees.
The status of each abstract (acceptance for oral or poster presentation) will be indicated on the congress website by 1 June 2005.
Authors will additionally receive an e-mail from the Congress Secretariat.
In case of further questions please contact the Congress Secretariat (sigrune@lsh.is).
If possible rejection of your abstract disables your participation in the congress,the registration can be cancelled without extra costs by 1 June 2004.
The presenting author of a selected abstract commits himself/herself to attend the Congress and present the abstract in the session and at the time dedicated upon by the Scientific Committee. One of the co-authors can take over if needed.
